self explanatory

it was a video with beautiful kawali music but darn google made it into an image

Image taken from singing inside the Fahtepur Sikri. They were singing in front of the memorial built for the court saint. Posted by Hello

haha mahal

Looks grand, doesn't it. I thought so too, when I saw it in the picture, and part of the visit to Rajastan's Jaipur was to see this building. But boy, wasn't I for a disappointment. It looks nice and all, when in a camera frame it just includes this structure, but when you look down, on the street, it is all dirt and garbage, and frail looking people, and dirty cars and commotion and every horrible thing you can think of. The picture itself shows an automobile tire, which is not supposed to be on a street sign. Dang! I should have also taken a picture of the street where this structur e stands. Pretty depressing. Posted by Hello

old looks of Padmanabhan temple

The famous Padmanabha temple at the front gates. Wanted to visit the place to my satisfaction, savor the moments there. But the trip was short and the pace was faster that I couldn't stop and listen and see around in quietitude. Posted by Hello

my beautiful and spiritual wife Sreedevi

By the Pazhavangadi Ganapathi Temple. Looking at the way Nikhil is wearing his shoes, I think it is taken after the visit. The standard unkemptness which plauges all of India is visible everywhere, can see it in this picture as well. Posted by Hello

pazhavangadi

I am not quite sure where it is. I think this is still Trivandrum. Oh, I know. I think it is by the Ganapathy Temple in Pazhavangadi. I just turned around and took a picture to capture how the sight is on the streets of Trivandrum. Posted by Hello

Nikhil eating pappadam

Nikhil, eating his pappadam, at a Sadya, a marriage ceremony. This is the next day we arrived in India, still fresh from US of A. See the yummy food stuff on the banana leaves! Posted by Hello

Sreedevi with large size vegetables

Sreedevi by the vegetable stall. We stopped and took this picture seeing the size of the snake guard. Pretty amazing. This is in Oachira, on our way home from the railway station. Posted by Hello

old Kerala memory II

Another view of the lake by the way of the train. Kerala is so beautiful, but as a native who has relatives there, it is hard to be lost in the beauty - you are engulfed in the relatives, their nearness and chit chat and blending in with their way of life. No time to enjoy the land like a tourist. Posted by Hello

an old Kerala memory

Kerala, in all its glory, when going to Oachira from Trivandrum on the Madras Mail train. The Canon camera was clicked away to capture this beautiful image of Kerala. Posted by Hello
