How to handle difficult times!

How to handle challenging times

After pandemic world is going through difficult times. Inflation touches every part of our lives around the world. No one is immune from that. Interest rates are high, prices are high including astronomically high home prices. Being in the business of Real Estate and Mortgage, everyone in this industry is suffering.
But there are people who will still be successful in any environment. This story is to respect and celebrate the successful people. Maybe we all can learn and internalize this story.

Chicken and her youngs

A long time ago, there lived in a communion, a group of chickens. Everyone was doing good, had plenty to eat and drink, and everyone was merry. They were very happy raising more kids and generally happy to be fortunate living in the land of plenty. There was enough worms and more for the hens, roosters and the chicks. They are all very healthy and happy due to the abundance of food. After a while hard times struck.

The seasonal rain which helped everything to prosper - the plants the animals - it did not rain that time. Plants and trees were starting to dry. The soft moist earth has hardened, and sadness fell upon the chicken community. Their food disappeared, and everyone is finding hard time to eat even one meal a day. They were crestfallen. The hens were depressed of the fact that their little ones had not much to eat.

Then there was one hen, and her chicks still doing very well! The chicks had enough and more to eat, and the hen seems to be very contented.

The other hens who was watching her was very puzzled. They wanted to find out why she is happy and can feed her kids when all the rest are suffering.

They went up to her and asked 'Hello dear hen, there is drought and we don't have enough to eat, but you seem to be happy and you have enough food for your chicks and yourself. What is your secret?

The hen replied.

"I just dig deeper!"

This is a very important story - when the soil is moist, the earthworms come to the top of the soil and when the land get dry, they dig deeper into the soil. The hen hard to work harder to find them - it just had to dig deeper to reach the earthworms!

Hope you enjoyed this story.
